Our new YUMI collection is inspired by Japanese ceramics and the contemporary interpretation of Wabi Sabi, a Japanese aesthetic concept influenced by nature and based on the idea of finding beauty in the imperfect, in things that at first glance seem simple but have a timeless quality. The handmade ceramic pieces of the YUMI Collection were designed and produced with the same "perfect imperfection" in mind.

Alle Steinzeugkeramiken werden in meinem Studio in Hamburg individuell gedreht und anschließend glasiert. Leichte Abweichungen in Form sowie Glasur können auftreten und sind charakteristischer Teil des manuellen Herstellungsprozesses. Jedes Stück ist somit ein unverwechselbares Unikat.
All stoneware ceramics are individually thrown in my studio in Hamburg and then glazed. Slight variations in shape and glaze may occur and are a characteristic part of the manual manufacturing process. This makes each piece truly unique.
