Moki Jar
MOKI ist eine zylindrische, geradlinige Dose mit einem schmalen Deckel und einem grafisch-skulpturalen Knauf. Die klare Form trifft auf eine organische, fast muschelartige Glasur, die sich über Teile des Deckels und Griffs legt.
Jeder MOKI Jar entwickelt beim Brennen seinen ganz eigenen Charakter. Die Muschelglasur fällt mal stärker, mal zurückhaltender aus und macht jedes Stück zu einem Unikat.
Perfekt für Schmuck, kleine Lieblingsstücke oder im Badezimmer für Q-Tips und Kosmetik. Da MOKI lebensmittelecht glasiert ist, kann die Dose genauso gut für Salz, Gewürze, kleine Snacks oder andere Dinge in der Küche verwendet werden.
Ein funktionales Alltagsobjekt, irgendwo zwischen Dose und kleiner Skulptur.
Wie alle unsere Keramikobjekte wird auch der MOKI Jar in unserem Studio in Hamburg individuell gedreht, glasiert und von Hand fertiggestellt. Unterschiede in Form, Oberfläche und Glasur sind ein natürlicher Teil des Herstellungsprozesses. Jedes Stück ist ein Unikat.

MOKI is a clean, cylindrical jar with a slim lid and a graphic, sculptural knob. Its reduced shape is contrasted by an organic, shell-like glaze that grows across parts of the lid and handle.
Each MOKI Jar develops its own character during firing. The shell glaze varies from piece to piece, sometimes more pronounced, sometimes more subtle, making every jar truly one of a kind.
Perfect for jewellery, small treasures or bathroom essentials like Q-tips and cosmetics. Since MOKI is food safe, it can just as easily be used for salt, spices, small snacks or whatever you want to keep close in the kitchen.
A functional everyday object somewhere between a jar and a small sculpture.
Like all our ceramic objects, the MOKI Jar is individually wheel-thrown, glazed and finished by hand in our studio in Hamburg. Variations in shape, surface and glaze are a natural part of the process. Each piece is one of a kind.
