2:1 Ceramic Course

In this 2:1 exclusive ceramic course, we’ll explore the beauty of form, material, and rhythm.
From Earth to Form is a hands-on experience designed for beginners and advanced beginners who want to understand not just how to throw, but how to feel form — how aesthetics and functionality come together through your hands.

With a strong focus on design, proportion, and sensitivity, this course helps you develop your own visual language in clay. You’ll learn how to prepare your material, shape your first pieces on the wheel, refine them, and finish them with glaze.

We will focus on:
✹ Understanding how clay moves and how your hands respond
✹ Learning the essentials of wheel throwing and centering
✹ Developing your own sense of proportion and shape
✹ Refining surfaces through trimming and handles
✹ Exploring glaze, color, and texture

Duration:
3 studio sessions in total
– Session 1: Clay preparation & wheel throwing (3 h)
– Session 2: Trimming, attaching handles, surface refinement (3 h)
– Session 3: Glazing & finishing (2 h)

Timing:
Sessions start at 4:30 PM.
– 3-hour sessions end at 7:30 PM
– 2-hour sessions end at 6:30 PM

Im exklusiven 2:1-Keramikkurs From Earth to Form geht es um Formgefühl, Materialbewusstsein und Ästhetik.
Dieser Kurs richtet sich an Anfänger*innen und leicht Fortgeschrittene, die die Drehscheibe nicht nur technisch, sondern gestalterisch verstehen möchten – als Verbindung von Handwerk, Design und Intuition.

Mit einem Fokus auf Form, Proportion und Balance lernst du, wie Ton sich bewegt, wie du ihn führst und wie du daraus eigenständige, ausdrucksstarke Stücke formst.

Fokus:
✹ Ton kennenlernen – Bewegung, Gefühl, Rhythmus
✹ Grundlagen des Drehens und Zentrierens
✹ Eigenes Formgefühl und Proportionen entwickeln
✹ Oberflächen verfeinern, Henkeln, Details gestalten
✹ Glasuren, Farbe und Struktur verstehen

Dauer:
3 Studio-Sessions insgesamt
– Session 1: Tonvorbereitung & Drehen (3 Std.)
– Session 2: Abdrehen & Henkeln (3 Std.)
– Session 3: Glasieren & Finish (2 Std.)

Nach der Buchung melde ich mich per E-Mail mit Terminvorschlägen und einem kurzen Leitfaden zur Vorbereitung.
